Melody

Melody brings more than 45 years of experience in healthcare, including 25 years dedicated to senior care. Her passion for serving others led her to pursue a nursing career at Georgia Baptist Hospital School of Nursing, and she later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Georgia State University. Over the years, Melody transitioned from hospital nursing into medical sales roles focused on senior care, expanding her knowledge and connections within the industry.

Melody joined Where The Heart Is in 2022 and quickly realized that being a family advocate is exactly where she was meant to be. Drawing on her experience and compassion, she has helped her own parents, friends, and many clients make informed decisions about senior living. She understands that every client and family is unique, and that navigating senior living options can often feel overwhelming.

Melody is passionate about easing that burden by guiding families through each step of the process—from listening to their needs and preferences, to scheduling and attending tours, negotiating pricing with communities, and connecting families with valuable senior care resources.

For Melody, the greatest reward is seeing her clients thrive in their new homes. Hearing their stories and receiving heartfelt thanks from families reminds her why she is so passionate about the work she does.

Ashleigh

Ashleigh Sease

Family Advocate

Ashleigh joined Where The Heart Is in 2023, bringing a strong background in case management, discharge planning, and rehabilitation navigation. Her experience allows her to guide families through the senior living placement process with knowledge, compassion, and practical insight.

Ashleigh’s passion for helping families was shaped by her own personal journey. After losing both her mother and mother-in-law within a month of each other, she felt called to help others navigate the challenges of senior care placement. Her mother lived with Parkinson’s for eight years and resided in assisted living, while her mother-in-law had dementia and required memory care. During that time, Ashleigh and her husband managed the complex process of caring for both loved ones, often figuring things out on their own along the way.

Because of this experience, Ashleigh understands how overwhelming the process can feel and how different every family’s situation is. Her goal is to meet families where they are and guide them through each step—providing resources, coordinating options, and helping them find the best community based on budget, location, and care needs.

Ashleigh encourages families to plan ahead whenever possible so they are prepared when the time comes. She is passionate about helping families begin the placement process and is committed to finding the best possible options for every loved one.
